I wish I was like the ocean,
so I could crash upon the rocks.
I wish I was the wind
that could bring a ship down.
I wish I could just die easily
when I lay on the ground.

I've prayed every night,
that my ship would soon find shore,
as I lay in my bed wounded,
from the day before.

You are like the silver knife,
that slices at flesh,
which heals in the night,
to bleed again fresh.

Was I truely born to be alone?
My family has moved on.
They tell me to let them be,
goodbye... so long...

I'm looking for a light in the tunnel.
I'm looking for a heading.
I'm looking for a captain,
as I see the sun setting

It's a difficult thing,
to drive a ship at night,
when all the lights go out,
when all is out of sight.

There is no room for crying.
You are sharper when you are strong.
Sew your wounds shut,
and prepare to sail on.

There is a light on this earth,
that captures men's wonder.
Be prepared to fight,
for the dread pirates' plunder.

And when the Lady dies,
the day she finally sinks,
drink yourself away,
it's safer not to think.
